Week 33 - Better than expected

Well that week went better than I expected. It didn't feel very comfortable but it seemed to be ok in the end. I guess there are several ways to skin a cat! I never felt in control of many days but all is well that ends well, so I can't complain. Nothing really outstanding to report or to comment on but this will be one of the last weeks that I can do the evening racing so my range of opportunities will shrink from week 35 onwards. I am expecting my totals to start to decline now.

I am posting this as the York meeting disintegrates in the water that is flooding the course so with this and other meetings being abandoned I am expecting a very poor week. Hopefully I can report something useful for the next week. It seems a little bizarre that I am probably going to have my worst week of the year in the summer!

In one of your first posts we can see a screenshot (post titled typical day). How do You cut your trades and you never had 0.00 p/l - I mean do you ever open a trade at lets say 3.35 for 500 pounds and close it at the same price? Can you explain how do you exactly exit your trades?

Since last week i'm really struggling to make any profit, in fact i'm not. would you say it is purly down to lack of money as to why the markets have changed? they seem very different to me. from the last few months anyway.

I do have zero's just not that often and not on that day. I am guility of pushing quite hard to get a profit and often that leads to a loss so I red up. I don't trade to zero and I try and put through as many as I can.

It is harder at certain time than others. The period we are about to enter now will feel a lot different from the summer when there is more racing. It should feel harder now, if not you are doing well.
